I once read "Walden's Pond" by Thoreau for a school assignment. Though I hated the hipocratic nature of the book, it became the most memorable reading experience of my life. It was during those last few weeks of Junior Year in High School that I was uprooted from my home of 17 years and forced to cohabitate with my parents in a very crampt Suite in Extended Stay America. You see, even before the housing market tanked, we were victims of bad timing. With a sold house and unfinished condo, we were teetering limbo and thus I was in limbo. Desperate to keep myself occupied, I threw myself into the school assignments at hand. One was to experienc

Hello friends and art lovers! What a start I've had to this New Year and unfortunately, art has nothing to do with it. I have taken some photos of myself, family, and most recently my Christmas tree, but aside from those brief moments behind the camera, other aspects of my life have kept me busy. For those visitors not privy to knowing me in the "real world", the store I've spent nearly 2 years of my life commuting to and from will be closed for good on January 10th. Like most urbanites, I have a commute to the OTHER urban area where I work and camera + car = accident waiting to happen. I don't know about the rest of you, but I really don't want to tie up the highways and byways with my own stupid mistake! Long story short, I'm here, but lurking. I hope t

thank you for the :+fav: =)
Thank you for the faves. ^_^
Thank YOU for creating such thought-provoking artwork. Seriously, I get very excited when I see a new addition to DA by you because I know that even if it's just a character sketch, you render each piece with such care, your attention to detail will appeal.
Thank you very much for the fav! ^.^
I like your pictures. :)

You live in Washington state, huh? I lived there for four years--two in Bellevue and two in Mercer Island. Where do you live? I miss the rain there... :( I live in California now, and there's not enough rain! >_<
thank you for watching me
